2016 STEAM Forward Learning Conference
Date: Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, 9 AM - 3 PM
The STEAM FORWARD LEARNING conference (http://www.steamforwardlearning.org/ (link is external)) is a day long event designed to help educators from all levels spark new ideas for the classroom building on the cross-curricular integration of science, technology, engineering, art/architecture/agriculture and mathematics (STEAM). The conference provides early childhood, middle school, high school teachers, and higher education faculty and parents unique concurrent hands-on workshops of methodologies that work.
One of the unique features of the STEAM FORWARD LEARNING conference is that presenters will be selected from all academic areas leaving no discipline behind! Teachers of the humanities, sciences, arts, mathematics, physical education, library, and others will find the interdisciplinary focus intriguing while advancing their STEAM teaching strategies.
The conference will be held at The Conference Center at Saint Vincent College, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, Latrobe, PA 15650.
Teachers have the opportunity to be a conference presenter - submit before October 1st at: http://www.steamforwardlearning.org/call-for-proposals.html (link is external)
