FASE STEM Mini Grants

Application deadline: 4PM, February 13, 2014

With support from the Alcoa Foundation, Female Alliance for STEM Excellence (FASE) is pleased to announce that they are accepting applications for 2014 FASE STEM Mini Grants! Educators (formal and informal) can apply for these mini grants designed to provide the resources for new and exciting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) projects geared toward females.

The 2014 FASE STEM Mini Grants are designed to recognize and support excellence in STEM education by providing funds to enhance programs for elementary, middle school, and/or high school girls. Educators can apply for up to $1,000 of financial support to enhance instruction in the areas of math, science, engineering and/or technology. The grants are not to be used for equipment or to provide for travel, busing, or field trips unless it is an enhancement for student learning and directly linked to the STEM program outlined in this application. Only one grant per applicant will be awarded. Educators can apply and receive grants for consecutive years. Detailed information is located in the FASE STEM Folder in the Digital Repository. Please note the number of grants and amounts awarded are contingent on funding. A grant application must include the completed application information form and a letter from the building principal or Executive Director documenting support of the grant. Incomplete or late grant application packets will not be considered.

DEADLINE: Completed applications must be received by 4 PM on February 13, 2014.
